for Freshman Class President.

Campaign Issues:

CUA Recreation Center

When the Edward J. Prybyla Center was being built, the original
design included a bowling alley and a game room included in the
design. Unfortunately, when construction was nearly completed,
the funding came up short. The recreation room in the Pryz' was unable to be built.

Last year (2005-2006), the USG brought up the issue of the
recreation room yet again. The plan that they hatched impacted
each student only by $100 and would raise enough money to
provide the students with a bowling alley or some sort of
recreation area. The senior class, however, pushed to deny this
new plan as they, too, would help this endeavor despite their
graduation being just a few short months away.

I, as a class presidential candidate, want to try to bring this plan
back and get it passed. Our freshman class is the biggest class
CUA has ever seen. Our class has the power to resolve this issue
and possibly fund our own student recreation area.

Movie Rental

Hey lets face it, CUA might be the best school ever but it’s not in
the best area ever. Because of that some times it’s just hard to get
what we want. One thing that I really want is a place to rent videos
so as Freshman Class President I will make it a priority to try to
bring amenities like a video rental serves on campus.
What Do You Think?

CUA Spirit

One thing that’s really important to me is listening to you, so here
is the question. What do you think the USG can do to improve
school sprit and raise attendance at sporting events?
